InfoTech have just won the coveted "Gold Level" award for their commitment to Investors in people.

Infotech Solutions (UK) Ltd, based at Medway City Estate, which provides IT solutions, was presented with the Gold Investors in People (IiP) Award at a ceremony held at The Chesterfield Hotel, Mayfair, London.

Investors in People is a national quality Standard awarded to well-run organisations which demonstrate good management practice with a high emphasis on best practice people management and development.

Jason Foord, Managing Director at Infotech Solutions, said: “The first time we passed the accreditation it meant a lot to us as we had put significant time and resources into the procedures and were ensuring we were doing all we could to look after our staff". “This year we were very pleased to achieve Gold status and it is a testament to the staff that they saw fit to award us the highest level of accreditation. We have found that staff really buy into the philosophy behind the IiP standard and are happier at work knowing that we fulfil all the requirements at the highest level. Happy staff are productive staff, so there are benefits on all levels of the business.”

Recent research, conducted by the Centre for Business Performance at Cranfield School of Management, showed that working with Investors in People increases profitability by enhancing managerial skills and increasing the performance of managers. It also inspires a high-performance management culture and an effective learning environment, both of which help to improve business performance.

Microsoft have changed the Partner requirements and InfoTech are one of the first UK companies to attain the Mid Market Solutions Provider competency.

Microsft have changed the way customers can be assured that they are dealing with a company who understands their technology. In the past Microsoft have had just Partners and Gold Partners, this has changed and been replaced with Competencies.

IT Companies can now choose a particular product or technoology and gain full competency relating to that service provision. Each competency gain be attained at either Silver or Gold Level.

InfoTech are pleased to announce that we are one of the first UK Companies to attain the Mid Market Solutions Competency.

Not resting on it's laurels InfoTech are also well on the way to achieving Virtualisation Competency along with many others.

InfoTech utilise a state of the art PSA (Proffesional Services Automation) tool, called Connectwise, to run it's core business and the Annual Summit is upon us.

Some 1200 IT Business Owners from around the world will be in Orlando, Florida from November 4-6 2010 to visit the Connectiwse Annual Seminar and our Managing Director, Jason Foord will be there to take part. It's so popular that for the second year in a row the event is sold out.

InfoTech will be in attendance from Monday through to Sunday with Training, Vendor Meetings, Best Practise Discussions and much more lined up throughout the week. HTG are also in attendance and Jason will be representing InfoTech to discuss the issues facing the IT Industry with 250 Worldwide IT Business Owners.

InfoTech Solutions is proud to announce the launch of our new website at http://www.infotech.co.uk. The goal of the new website is to make it easier for our existing clients to submit and manage support requests, and provide more information about our services for prospective clients.

Our current clients who can access our ticket client portal can now use their email and password to log into the site to make filling out forms easier, access special content, and gain access to our ticketing system.
