How InfoTech Solutions (UK) Limited Uses Cookies

Whenever you visit our website information may be collected through the use of cookies. Cookies are small text files which are downloaded onto your computer, your web browser then sends these back to our website on each subsequent visit so that it can recognise you.

Cookies have a variety of uses that not only help to make your experience of our website as smooth as possible, but also help us to ensure that we continue to develop our website to be the best it could be in terms of user experience. There are two different types of cookie that we use and they perform different functions.

Essential Cookies: without these, the website would not work properly. These come into play when you sign in as they record that you have signed in and negate the need to sign in on every page.

Analytical Cookies: these cookies collect anonymous information about how visitors use the website. It allows us to see the most popular pages and errors so that we can improve the site. It allows us to see the number of visitors per page and how they move within the site.

_utmz: this google analytics cookies stores where the user came from.

JCUser cookie: this stores the ID of the logged in user so it can be used for things like Quick Analysis and Quick Referral.

Joomla user cookie: this one has a hashed name and contains encrypted data. This is a standard remember me cookie that is kept around to keep the user logged in if they close their browser without logging out.

How to control your cookies

It is worth noting that any settings you change will affect not only the InfoTech Solutions (UK) Limited site but any other site that you visit. Most browsers will allow you to select your cookie options through the Internet options privacy tab. You can use this tab to set the options for all websites or select specific sites to block.
